You, O God are strong, and you O Lord are loving.

If I told you what time I woke up today a lot of you would kill me..all you need to know is I did wake up...

I decided to start reading "Wild At Heart" (Mike just finished it so he gave me that book and I gave him "Captivating" to read). I read the first couple of chapters and it just talked about how men were made in God's image. God is adventurous and a risk taker and I think many of us forget that. It also went on to describe that women were also in God's image. God longs for adventure but he also longs to be loved..as women do.

"One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, and that you, O Lord are loving."
Pslams 62:11-12

The book talked about how God took a huge risk when He allowed us freedom of choice because we disobey and hurt Him over and over again. God also takes huge risks when He decides to love us over and over again.

"Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possible broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal."

C.S. Lewis

How true is that quote? Love is the ultimate risk and still God chooses to do and still we choose to do it.
